Flood Elevation Certificate
Nationwide Elevation Certificate Coordination
Take the guesswork out of your flood zone requirements. We secure FEMA-compliant Elevation Certificates for properties across the United States.
Why Choose FloodZero for Your Elevation Certificate?
Procuring an Elevation Certificate (EC) is a highly technical process that determines your federal flood insurance premiums and building compliance. A single surveyor error on an EC can cost you thousands of dollars in unnecessary insurance premiums or construction delays.
As your One Stop Flood Zone Shop, we do not just find a surveyor; we manage the entire process so you don’t have to. Our team finds the best surveyor and price, schedules and coordinates the visit, and handles any follow-up issues.
We bridge the gap between local surveying practices and strict FEMA compliance, giving you peace of mind that the job is done right.
Our 3-Step Coordination Process
1
Federal Flood Risk Analysis
Before anyone steps foot on your property, our consultants analyze your specific parcel against current FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) to determine exactly what elevation data is required to support your specific goals (e.g., insurance reduction or LOMA filing).
2
Local Surveyor Procurement
Because we operate nationwide, we tap into our established network to vet, negotiate with, and hire a licensed, highly qualified Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) specific to your location.
3
FEMA Compliance Quality Control
Once the local surveyor completes the fieldwork, our team conducts a rigorous quality control review of the drafted Elevation Certificate to ensure it strictly meets FEMA’s regulatory standards before it is submitted to your lender, insurance agent, or local building department.
Transparent, Two-Part Pricing
Because we coordinate surveys nationwide, the actual cost of the physical survey varies by market. To protect you from hidden markups, our pricing is completely transparent:
Our Coordination Fee: $250 Flat Fee (If we are unable to secure a qualified local surveyor for your property, this fee is fully refunded).
Local Surveyor’s Fee: Varies by location and survey company. Based on the true market rate for your specific area. We will always provide you with the surveyor’s quotes for your approval before any field work begins.
